I am a complete DSLR virgin. Sure, I once put my finger on the button and opened and closed the shutter of a friends DSLR –but it’s not the same thing. After feeling the power and force of the DSLR, I have spent the last year pining away for one of my own. At, this point you are probably expecting me to say that I bought a basic DSLR with a kit lens, right? This, on its own, would give the power and force but not the quality I am looking for. Instead, I bought the Canon EOS-7D with the EF 70-300 f/4-5.6 IS USM lens. I have a very long list of lenses that I am yearning for, but for now, this will have to do. As I said before, I am a complete DSLR virgin, so I will have to teach myself everything. This blog is going to follow my learning process, starting from the first shot.
